How to do the Tarkov shooter part 2? ›

In this quest you have to use bolt-action rifles to land 3 hits on any entities legs, and 2 hits on any entities heads from over 40 meters away. The leg hits can all be done on the same target. Hits on group members don't count.

Factory is not recommended for this quest as there are not many places where you can effectively engage at 40m or further. Only Scavs count towards this quest, not PMCs. Woods, Shoreline, and Customs are good maps because of the sniper Scavs that can be spotted from a far distance.

How to complete the quest? Buy any bolt-action sniper and go on Factory. Any maps with close quarters combat are good for this quest (dorms on Customs, Reserve basem*nt). Task completion time can depend on your luck too (some PMCs can have good armor and be hard to kill).

Learning to aim at the head is one of the best things to do, you'd be dropping enemies really quickly and a lot of ammo becomes viable.

Without proper ammunition to kill him, shredding his 6B13 M to low durability or firing solely at his legs are both appropriate, albeit more risky, strategies. Grenades generally won't work to kill him, as he is a highly mobile fighter and will rarely be pinned down long enough for a grenade to stop him.

Story. The game is set in Tarkov, a fictional Russian city. The factions BEAR and USEC, known from Contract Wars, fight against each other, together with a third faction.
